This book is dedicated to my father, Daniel Rabie, who was my Prime Love Giver, to my two daughters who were my inspiration, and to my mother, Hanina, who was a gentle soul.
The Canadian edition published by HarperCollins Canada in 1995 is titled: THEY LOVE YOU, THEY LOVE ME NOT, the truth about the family favorite and sibling rivalry. It was released under my hyphenated family name, Vera Rabie-Azoory.
The US edition, titled SIBLING RIVALRY, The Truth About The Family Favorite, was published by Barricade Books, New York in 1999.
In the year 2000 it was translated to Portuguese and published by Editoriales Paulinas, a Catholic press operated by an order of nuns in Brazil. My notion of why a religious press would choose to publish this book is that the philosophy behind DOLF Theory coincides with Christian values. That is, when a child misbehaves, we should focus on bringing the child into the family fold rather than follow disciplinary measures.
